Adjusted EBITDA Margin

Adjusted EPS

What Went Right
  • Reported revenue grew 9% YoY to ~$2.0B with organic revenue +4% and positive growth across every major region.
  • July organic orders inflected to low double-digit/mid-teens growth, supporting a raised FY26 revenue guidance of 4.5%-6.5%.
  • PST adjusted EBITDA grew 15% and margin expanded 200 bps to 31.5%, led by low double-digit life sciences order growth.
What to Watch
  • ITS adjusted EBITDA margin fell 180 bps to 26.8%, with China pricing/inflation the biggest drag and commercial investments adding pressure.
  • EMEA organic orders were down low double digits on long-cycle blower/vacuum timing in Europe and Middle East project delays.
  • Overall adjusted EBITDA margin declined 160 bps; Q2 corporate costs of $49M vs $34.6M included an incentive-comp true-up.
Management Guidance
  • FY26 revenue growth raised to 4.5%-6.5% (organic +1%-3%, M&A ~2.5%, FX ~1%).
  • FY26 adjusted EBITDA maintained at $2.13B-$2.19B; adjusted EPS maintained at $3.45-$3.57, expected near high end.
  • FY26 FCF conversion ~95%; IEEPA tariff refunds excluded from guidance and treated as upside.
Investor Lens
The thesis looks stronger after this quarter. Organic revenue accelerated to 4% and July organic orders were up low double-digit to mid-teens, suggesting long-cycle project delays are unwinding. The raised revenue guidance and active M&A pipeline (Lone Star closed, Fai Filtri signed, 11 LOIs) support durable compounding. The main watch item is ITS margin recovery in China; management expects normal second-half ramp from pricing, productivity and incentive normalization.

📈 STRONG Q2 revenue +9% and adjusted EPS +7%; July orders inflect higher.
Revenue
Reported revenue grew 9% YoY to ~$2.0B, with organic revenue up 4%. ITS grew 9% to $1.62B and PST grew 8% to $427M, both with 4% organic growth.
Profitability
Adjusted net income was $339M, or $0.86 per share, up 7% YoY. Reported net income was $257M, or $0.66 per share.
Margins
Adjusted EBITDA margin was 25.4%, down 160 bps YoY, as China price/cost pressure, commercial investments and a corporate incentive true-up weighed on ITS. PST was the offset, expanding 200 bps to 31.5%.
Balance Sheet
Q2 free cash flow rose ~28% YoY to $269M. Liquidity was $3.8B, cash was $1.2B and leverage was 1.7x; Moody's upgraded IR to Baa1.
Key Risks
China remains the key pricing challenge, though management calls it transitory. EMEA long-cycle orders were delayed, and overall margins face headwinds from higher corporate costs.
Outlook
FY26 revenue growth guidance was raised to 4.5%-6.5%, while adjusted EBITDA and EPS were maintained at $2.13B-$2.19B and $3.45-$3.57, respectively. FCF conversion is expected at ~95%.

Projections are built from each company's audited annual financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) over the last 5 fiscal years. Forward assumptions — revenue growth %, EBITDA margin, D&A (USD millions), interest expense, tax rate, and capex — are AI-generated using historical context and refreshed twice a year: after the December results season and after the September/Q4 results season.
