📊 MIXED Record Q1 2026 revenue of $1.07B, 19% growth led by XYWAV, Epidiolex, Zepzelca
Revenue & Profitability
First quarter 2026 total revenues were $1.07 billion, reflecting over 19% year-over-year growth. Non-GAAP adjusted EPS was $6.34. Cash from operations was $408 million, and the company ended the quarter with $2.9 billion in cash and investments. Full-year 2026 revenue guidance is reaffirmed at $4.25–$4.5 billion.
Outlook
Management sees continued strong demand across sleep, epilepsy, and oncology. In sleep, they expect generics and potential new wake-promoting agents in H2 2026, but believe XYWAV's low-sodium profile and IH approval provide resilience. For oncology, Zepzelca's front-line maintenance adoption is driving growth, and zanidatamab's upcoming GEA launch is anticipated with strong physician interest. The company expects complementary dynamics between oxybates and emerging orexin agents.
Growth Drivers
Key growth drivers include: XYWAV volume growth of 12% and 425 net patient adds (300 from IH); Epidiolex expansion into adults and long-term care; Zepzelca front-line maintenance uptake following FDA approval; Modeyso launch with about 500 patients treated; and the potential zanidatamab launch in GEA, which has a 90% account overlap with existing BTC prescribers.
Balance Sheet & CapEx
Not discussed in this earnings call.
Margins
Non-GAAP adjusted gross margin declined slightly year-over-year due to higher sales of products carrying royalties (Zepzelca, Modeyso). SG&A decreased by $164 million mainly due to a $172 million litigation settlement in the prior year; excluding that, SG&A increased $8 million from Modeyso expenses. R&D increased $13 million from Modeyso trials and compensation. No explicit margin guidance was provided.
Key Risks
Risks flagged include: generic oxybate volume build-up and payer utilization management in H2 2026; potential Lumryz approval for IH; decline in Zepzelca second-line use due to competition; and MFN considerations for international zanidatamab pricing. Additionally, the company faces competition from ENHERTU in the breast cancer setting and uncertainty around NCCN guideline timing for Ziihera in GEA.

Financial Model
Projections are built from each company's audited annual financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) over the last 5 fiscal years. Forward assumptions — revenue growth %, EBITDA margin, D&A (USD millions), interest expense, tax rate, and capex — are AI-generated using historical context and refreshed twice a year: after the December results season and after the September/Q4 results season.

DCF Valuation
Fair Value = Σ(FCFt / (1+WACC)t) + Terminal Value. Terminal Value uses the Gordon Growth Model: FCF5 × (1+g) / (WACC−g). Default WACC: 10% (US risk-free ~4.5%, equity risk premium ~5.5%). Default terminal growth: 3% (long-run US nominal GDP proxy).

CAGR Tracker
Expected 5-year CAGR = (DCF Fair Value / Current Price)1/5 − 1. Assumes fair value is reached in exactly 5 years — a mechanical estimate only.
