📊 MIXED Globalstar reports record FY2025 revenue of $273M, 9% YoY growth, 50% EBITDA margin.
Revenue & Profitability
Full-year 2025 total revenue was $273 million, up 9% year-over-year. Net loss improved to $7.6 million from $63.2 million in 2024. Income from operations was $7.4 million versus a loss of $0.9 million. Record Adjusted EBITDA of $136.1 million (50% margin), up from prior year. Q4 2025 total revenue was $72 million (service revenue $67.4M, equipment $4.6M). Q4 net loss improved to $10.6 million from $50.2 million. The company guided 2026 total revenue between $280M and $305M with an Adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 50%.
Outlook
Management noted growing demand for resilient, interoperable solutions bridging satellite and terrestrial networks. The CEO highlighted that proprietary globally harmonized spectrum is increasingly important as the market evolves. He acknowledged industry excitement about data centers in space but stated that is not Globalstar's focus. No significant macro headwinds were discussed, but the company sees tailwinds from connectivity demand across IoT, defense, and public safety.
Growth Drivers
Key growth levers include two-way satellite IoT capabilities (launched commercially in 2025), which expand the addressable market for command-and-control applications. Commercial IoT subscribers grew 6% year-over-year, and IoT hardware sales revenue increased 50%. Government/defense wins with Parsons (expanding to private 5G) and a $1.9 million SBIR contract with Virewirx were highlighted. XCOM RAN progress in warehouse automation and airport/stadium environments (Boingo trial) also drive growth.
Balance Sheet & CapEx
Capital expenditures in 2025 were $550.4 million, primarily for deployment of replacement satellites and the extended MSS network (new constellation, ground infrastructure, global licensing). The company has committed $2 billion to the ITU for network extension, with 50% completed. No specific 2026 CapEx guidance was provided, but investments continue in ground stations, satellite launches, and XCOM RAN development. First replenishment satellite launch is expected in Q2 2026, second in H2 2026.
Margins
Full-year 2025 Adjusted EBITDA margin was 50%, in line with guidance, and 2026 guidance targets approximately 50% margin. Operating expenses increased due to personnel for next-gen infrastructure, XCOM RAN development, and higher legal/professional fees, partially offset by $3.9 million in employee retention credits. Cost of equipment sales included a $1.1 million tariff charge on imported/re-exported equipment. The company expects to maintain margin as revenue grows.
Key Risks
Management did not explicitly flag risks, but the CFO noted higher operating expenses from infrastructure build-out and XCOM RAN development. A $1.1 million tariff charge on imported/re-exported equipment was incurred. In Q&A, an analyst asked about potential interference issues between MSS and terrestrial 5G; the CEO explained frequency/time management and upcoming multi-mode modems to mitigate such risks.

Projections are built from each company's audited annual financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) over the last 5 fiscal years. Forward assumptions — revenue growth %, EBITDA margin, D&A (USD millions), interest expense, tax rate, and capex — are AI-generated using historical context and refreshed twice a year: after the December results season and after the September/Q4 results season.
